Management
The society is managed by a seven member Executive Committee. This committee consists of representatives of various areas of society ranging from local government, industry, academia and church. The GSPD Director serves as chairman of the Executive Committee and administers the GSPD's day-to-day activities

Mr. Barimah Antwi (Chairman and Director)
S.Y. Barimah Antwi, Director Mr Antwi, originally trained as a youth worker, was one of the co-founders of the GSPD in 1988. Having lost one of his arms in a bus accident in his late thirties, he experienced the impact of exclusion from society because of disability. From that moment he has been dedicated to improving living standards and opportunities for the disabled and their general acceptance in society.

George Sampene (Administrator)
G. Sampene, Administrator Mr Sampene is a graduate teacher with over thirty years of leading experience. He has been with the society as an affiliated member since its establishment.

Adiyiah Noah Kwaku (Program Manager)
Adiyah Noah KwakuMr. Adiyiah assists the program director on administrative work (proposals, reporting), project initiation, implementation, monitoring and supervision. He has a degree in Integrated Community Development (DICD) from the University for Development Studies, Tamale, Ghana.

Eric Koranteng (Headmaster, Trainer in Dressmaking)
Eric Koranteng Mr. Koranteng is responsible for vocational training activities within the GSPD. An acomplished tailor himself, he also teaches the dressmaking class.

Current volunteers
Sanne van der Poel (Volunteer Kinesiotherapist)
Sanne van der Poel, oefentherapeut Cesar Sanne will be working at the Maase centre until the end of 2008. Her main goal is to develop the physiotherapy practice within the centre. She will be contacting various organisations and universities in Europe for the recruitment of physiotherapy volunteers. Sanne will also be involved in fundraising to further furnish the department with useful equipment. Apart from this, she is treating patients and professionalising patient registration at the centre.
