Village children daycare program
In Ghana, disabled children are often neglected and generally get little or no opportunities. The centre in Offinso has identified most of these children in the area. In line with GSPD's mission, the centre tries to offer support to improve their living conditions. Twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, a group of 10 disabled children are picked up from their homes. They can play, get washed and fed and when necessary they receive medical care and physiotherapy.

The GSPD is considering investment in facilities to be able to host a selected group of children fulltime. This need is eminent with a number of children who are severely neglected by their families. Until that time, the centre is doing the best it can with the existing infrastructure. Below are some snapshots of some of the children that receive daycare at the centre twice a week.
